- The project was completed in stages and equipped with modern medical technology. Its first departments—Emergency, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Internal Medicine opened in 1993 to meet urgent community needs.
- Currently, the hospital operates with over 300 beds and employs 1,054 staff members. It serves more than 160,000 patients annually, including over 30,000 admissions. Al Ahli is affiliated with a College of Nursing offering programs in nursing, midwifery, and anesthesia, and runs multiple training programs for medical and nursing students from both local and international institutions.
- Built through global donations, Al Ahli is now the largest hospital in Palestine and the primary project of the Patient Friends Society (P.F.S.) in Hebron. Upon full expansion, it will have 304 beds, with the capacity to increase to 500 in emergencies.
