Ahli Hospital in Hebron Hosts High-Level Delegation from Al-Maqasid Hospital in Jerusalem

As part of efforts to strengthen medical cooperation and exchange expertise among Palestinian healthcare institutions, Ahli Hospital in Hebron welcomed a high-level delegation from Al-Maqasid Charitable Hospital in Jerusalem, comprising a distinguished group of medical and administrative leaders.

The delegation was headed by Dr. Omar Abu Zaidah, General Director of Al-Maqasid Hospital, and included:
Dr. Adnan Farhoud – Deputy General Director
Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zaghl – Medical Director
Dr. Dawood Abedin – Administrative Director
Mr. Zaid Ayad – Financial Director
Dr. Bassam Abu Labdeh – Head of Pediatrics and Genetics
Dr. Rabee Adwan – Head of Infection Control
Mr. Samir Al-Qudoumi – Workers’ Syndicate Representative

The delegation was received by Dr. Youssef Takrouri – General Director of Ahli Hospital, Dr. Arwa Al-Falah – Medical Director, and members of the Medical Council, including Dr. Salah Al-Hashlamoun, Dr. Rajai Al-Husseini, Dr. Ahmed Al-Zughair, Dr. Youssef Abu Asbah – Head of Thoracic Surgery, and the Administrative Director, Eng. Mohammad Shawar.

The visit included a working session and discussions focusing on avenues for joint cooperation, particularly in medical training, knowledge exchange, and enhancing healthcare quality. The delegation also conducted a tour of the hospital departments, reviewing updates to medical units, the hospital’s development plan, and ongoing construction projects, including the new specialized building and the Haj Yousri Duwaik Oncology and Palliative Care Center.

At the conclusion of the visit, both parties emphasized the importance of continuing the partnership to serve the Palestinian healthcare sector and to further improve the quality of medical care provided to citizens.
