IT Department

The Computer and Technology Department in the hospital is a key department that supports all medical, administrative, and financial units through a fast and accurate computerized system for information exchange. The hospital is considered one of the first institutions to establish this department and to implement the Hospital Information System (HIS).

The department manages a comprehensive patient database containing both medical and administrative information, with fully electronic medical records and a PACS system for radiological images, enabling easy access to data and supporting clinical decision-making. It is also responsible for the continuous maintenance and development of systems, networks, and equipment to ensure quality and efficiency. The department currently consists of three engineers and a network administrator.
